Best Time To Sail:
Generally speaking the weather in Monterey is mild with very little change in temperatures throughout the year.  The warmest temperatures tend to be from August through October and the conditions for sailing are the best.  It is good to sail anytime, but for those that do not have prior sailing experience it is best to sail at noon, as the seas are calm.  The sunset cruises are the best this time of year.
In spring time, March through June it can be very windy in the afternoon, best to go before 2:00 p. m. unless experienced sailor.
In July and partially August, it can be foggy in the mornings and evenings and sometimes throughout the day, it best to go between 12:00 and 5:00 p. m.
